Mandalay is your professional partner in tailor-made art.
Whether you are looking for a refined facelift for your bathroom, a complete makeover of your kitchen, a colourful ornament in your garden or a mosaic art panel, Mandalay guarantees mosaic art which will bring a smile to your face for a lifetime.
With commissions we always follow a clear path towards the ultimate results, the steps of which you will find below.
Orientation
Each commission starts off with a preliminary conversation, in which we determine your wishes, such as your favourite colours, style, location of the mosaic etc. This initial contact is absolutely free of charge and without any obligations. We will then make a few sketches according to all the information gathered in the orientation phase.
Design
After your approval, Mandalay will work on the sketch of your choice in detail and provide you with a specified quotation and plan for your project.
For this phase, Mandalay can charge a small sum as a service fee, which will be deducted off the quotation price as soon as Mandalay is granted your commission.
Implication
In principle all mosaics are manufactured in our own studio. This also applies to mosaics for walls and floors. We work with pieces of netting which, when the artwork is completed, will be installed on location. Your bathroom or kitchen will not be out of use for weeks! For heavy 3D objects however, it might be necessary to work on location.
As an extra service for larger commissions such as walls and floors, we can produce a sample, so you will have an extra opportunity to fine tune the design before we start off with the big works. Another option is that we keep you informed regularly on the mosaic’s progress by sending you digital pictures by email. For international orders there always is a technical instruction sheet included so that your local tiler can install it for you without any problems. For commissions from Germany and Belgium we can install the mosaic ourselves.
In case of shipment, a detailed digital photograph will be emailed beforehand.
